The Solvin towers were approved on condition that the developer monitors the coastline for at least six months, including in winter. EliteEdge planned to complete Porta Del Sol in the third quarter of 2025 and to break ground on Canal Del Sol in the second quarter, and is also preparing a residential building in Larnaca city centre, which is at the permitting stage.
Political debate
The growth of foreign purchases has become a political issue. AKEL leader Stefanos Stefanou said targeted, large-scale buying had been observed in Limassol and Larnaca, including gated communities.
